Dear friends,

The CRPD Committee is currently having its 11th session in Geneva, Switzerland. The WFD delegation attended the session last week. WFD Board Member Dr Joseph Murray and WFD Human Rights Officer Ms Eeva Tupi supported deaf representatives from Azerbaijani and Swedish organisations of persons with disabilities, highlighted deaf views to the Committee and networked with various stakeholders. This week, the Committee has adopted a list of issues on Mexico. Next week, a list of issues will be adopted on Belgium, Denmark, Ecuador, Germany, New Zealand and the Republic of Korea.
